Til Chikki is a popular household Indian snack dish that is generally prepared during Sankranthi. It has a nice healthy combination of sesame seeds and jaggery, as this both ingredients are rich source of iron, which is required to maintain healthy hemoglobin levels in the body. Let’s follow this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cupsesame seeds (til)
  • 1/2 cupchopped jaggery (gur)
  • 1 1/2 tspghee

Directions

  • Heat a deep non-stick pan, add the sesame seeds and dry roast on a medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes and switch off the flame and keep it aside.
